With a six-decade tradition, we have proudly served as gold merchants since our start in 1963, founded by visionary N. Gopalanchettiyar in Therkaavani Moolaveethi, Madurai. As a family, commencing as a little enterprise, knowing the strength of integrity and social goodness, we fulfil the people's demands and desires by weaving a tapestry of trust and excellence with novelty in designs and high-quality gold ornaments. We accurately exhibited the culture through traditional desirable designs with skilled gold artisans. From 1970 to 2016, we introduced various schemes for beneficiaries, brought novelty in the gold trade, opened showrooms in three branches, great collections in gold, diamonds and platinum jewellers, expanded the trade-in right way and became one of the top gold merchants in Tamil Nadu.
In 2021, Senthil Murugan Jewellers expanded as a "Joint Venture" and relaunched as SMJ Groups. Knowing for its unwavering trust and supportive stand with people, SMJ only offers BIS Hallmarked 916 Gold, IGI Certified Diamonds, and PGI Certified Platinum Jewellers, reflecting its commitment to purity and service.

- For diamonds, the readymade purchase can be made exclusively from 5 thousand to 50 lakhs, as well as wedding set collections.
- For weddings, SMJ exclusively provides 5 pounds to 100 pounds of gold readymade for the bridegroom as a wedding set.
